UNHCR Refugee day

At first, Abbas felt lost and disoriented. He didn’t know anyone, he didn’t speak the language. But he was determined to rebuild his life. He started learning French and looking for work.

As a refugee, Abbas encountered a lot of prejudice because of his ethnicity and religion. People looked at him with suspicion and distrust. He pushed forward, determined to prove himself a person of worth.

Committed and committed, a journalist by profession, he was involved in helping the community. He helped other refugees find work and integrate into Belgian society.

He started from scratch in terms of his studies so that he could once again demonstrate his great abilities as a communicator.

Abbas’ story is an example of how the power of empathy can change lives. Abbas faced many challenges, but he never lost hope. He proved that refugees are capable and valuable people who can contribute to society.

Abbas’ story is also a reminder that the refugee crisis is a humanitarian crisis. Millions of people have been displaced from their homes by war, violence and persecution.
